Terms and Conditions

By completing registration, the student (or their parent/legal guardian if they are a minor) agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  • 1. Authorization for the Capture and Use of Images

    I authorize École de danse Le Momentum inc. and its representatives to capture photos and/or videos of the student as part of the school’s activities (classes, rehearsals, shows, events, competitions, etc.) and to use them for promotional and advertising purposes (website, social media, posters, videos, etc.), with no time limit and without financial compensation.

  • 2. Limitation of Liability – Injuries and Accidents

    I acknowledge that dance involves inherent risks. I agree to release École de danse Le Momentum inc., its employees, teachers, and representatives from all liability in the event of any injury, accident, or incident that may occur on the school’s premises or during affiliated external activities (shows, competitions, events, etc.).

  • 3. Commitment To Follow the Rules

    I agree to follow all of the school’s rules, whether they are communicated in writing or verbally.

    The student must show respect toward the staff, other students, the facilities, and the equipment used. Inappropriate or dangerous behaviour may lead to suspension or expulsion, without a refund.

  • 4. Parental Responsibility (for Minor Students)

    The school provides supervision only during class hours. Parents are responsible for their child’s safety outside of these periods, including arrival at and departure from the school. The student must be picked up immediately after their class.

  • 5. Personal Belongings

    École de danse Le Momentum inc. is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. We recommend not bringing valuables and labelling personal belongings.

  • 6. Communication

    All important information (cancellations, reminders, events, schedule changes, etc.) is shared via our official Facebook page and/or by email. It is your responsibility to check these channels regularly.

  • 7. Weather Conditions

    In the event of a storm or extreme weather conditions, the school reserves the right to suspend classes for safety reasons. A notice will be posted on our website and our Facebook page. Make-up classes are not guaranteed unless time slots are available.

  • 8. Registration Cancellation

    Any cancellation after classes have started is subject to the following policy:

    • Classes already attended will be charged;
    • A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the amount for the remaining classes will be applied, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act;
    • No refunds will be issued after mid-session, except for medical reasons accompanied by an official medical note.
  • 9. Deposit and Cancellation – Day Camp

    The deposit paid at day camp registration reserves the child’s spot and is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. This policy ensures fair management of available spots, since several families are sometimes turned away when groups are full. By reserving a spot, the parent acknowledges that it is removed from the inventory of spots available to other participants.
